Environment:Start Time: 2:10 PM Temperature: 39 degrees Sky: sunshine, moderate breeze A chilly day finally moderated sufficiently to allow me to hit the trail this afternoon at Lake Pueblo State Park. I was surprised at the number of other visitors who also managed to make it out as well. Snow is only present in the most shadowy areas and the trails are mostly mud free. I finally decided to hit the trail today because snow is predicted again for tonight. Conditions were not what I would call ideal but I’m sure it will be much worse tomorrow. Environment: Snowbound It’s been ten days since my last walk and it doesn’t look like I will be hitting the trail before next week. Old Man Winter seems to have been saving it for a big finish and has dumped cold and snow all over the place. Many people seemed to agree as there was a surprising number of folks out walking too. And biking. All the hub-bub did not seem to frighten off too many birds.
