Hidden Southern Colorado is my personal blog. My name is jd brown and I am a retired software engineer now pursuing nature photography in and around my home in South Eastern Colorado. I shoot both landscape and wildlife subjects. I am trying to focus on the lesser known areas of Colorado instead of the more iconic mountain vistas that come to most people’s minds at the mention of the State. This blog will chronicle my (near) daily walks at Lake Pueblo State Park but I also intend to cover how I approach nature photography with discussions on equipment, technique and process.
