Environment:Start Time: 8:25 AM Temperature: 50 degrees Sky: Sunny. Cooler (50 degrees) and calmer (not a hint of a breeze) this morning at Lake Pueblo State Park. I really saw a good variety of birds out on the trail but very few were willing to come close and pose for me. I was surprised by the appearance of an Osprey and a Double Crested Cormorant. My only bird capture is today’s featured image – a Townsend’s Solitaire. Weather outlook for tomorrow is not good but I hope the colorful leaves make it through. The really bad thing about the wind is it is stripping the colorful leaves from the trees. There are a lot of trees out there that put me in mind of a plucked chicken. Even though the temperature was one degree warmer than yesterday when I started it seemed around three degrees colder. Maybe that was the reason so few birds were out and about.
