Apparently it was a little too crisp for a lot of birds since not many were out appreciating the climate. Today I can honestly tell you that the featured image of a pair of Hooded Mergansers floating on the fishing pond is the best picture of the day. A quick burst of afternoon sunshine broke through the gloom that had started the day so I took a chance and headed out to Lake Pueblo State Park to have a quick look around.
