The Arkansas River is starting to get busy with a pretty nice variety of ducks splashing about like the Red-breasted Merganser pictured here. I did see several Great Blue Herons but only in the distance and none in the water. I spotted another Cooper’s Hawk but, unfortunately, it also spotted me.
