Environment:

Things remain kind of quiet along the Arkansas River. We still have Cormorants, Kingfishers, Herons, Mallards and one or two Osprey still at work. There were also a good number of Mule Deer out and about. One of them is today’s featured image – a nice view in an open space. There were also a couple of American Kestrels who were more active than I usually see.

Sightings:
Birds: Mallards, Double Crested Cormorants, Canada Geese, Gulls, Ospreys, Starlings, Great Blue Herons, Northern Flickers, Killdeer, Belted Kingfisher, Blue Jays, American Robin, Sparrow, White-breasted Nuthatch, Bewick’s Wren, American Kestrels, Red-tailed Hawk
Critters: Prairie Dogs, Mule Deer, Tree Squirrel, Grasshoppers
