This morning’s outing was 100% dedicated to shooting Autumn Color in Rock Canyon. This plan left me out on trail without the equipment required to photograph any but the closest of birds. I fully expected to see Eagles, Hawks, Ospreys, Owls and possibly Emus all cavorting around the park. That didn’t happen for some reason. What did happen was evidence that the Cottonwoods are finally getting into the Autumn spirit. The featured image is the last one I shot today – a nice reflection in the still waters of the Anticline Fishing Pond. Once again, I am proud to have captured so much color without the help of a single Aspen Tree!
