It really kind of amazes me that there are two juvenile Ospreys still hanging around Lake Pueblo State Park. I’m pretty sure the two birds posted (one featured) are different birds – I took the photos in two different locations…. Another treat this morning was a Western Grebe peacefully floating way out in the middle of the fishing pond. It’s been a couple of years since I’ve caught one out there. They are Spring and Fall visitors who stop over for a week or two to rest up before continuing the trip South. While I was shooting the Grebe and the Osprey a Northern Flicker buzzed by – posted at bottom.
