Another warm November morning. Quite a few white clouds and a wind strong enough to require me to deploy the chin strap on my hat. I don’t know if the wind was keeping the birds hunkered down but there was very little activity. One Red-Tailed Hawk was out enjoying the wind and could be seen riding the wind currents high up in the sky. The other main players were Belted Kingfishers. I spotted one working the fishing pond just as I got started. I chased him for about a quarter of the pond’s shoreline before I gave up. So I got home with nothing really exciting to post. I took another look at the shot of the American Coot I took yesterday. I did another edit on the image and am offering it as today’s featured image.
