Warm weather continues to tarnish November’s reputation. Birds and critters are still playing hard to get. The Mule Deer took the day off but the Squirrels were taking up the slack – I saw more of them this morning than I normally do in a week. I don’t consider the walk a wash, though, because I got to see an Eagle! My first of the season. I didn’t get a photo today because he was at a high altitude and apparently late for an appointment – but I will keep trying. Today’s featured image is a Great Blue Heron. I also shot a picture of some seeding plant life along the Arkansas River so I could try to identify it. The best ID I got from Google Lens is “Clematis Virginiana” – pictured below.

Birds: Mallard Ducks, Belted Kingfisher, Gulls, Canada Geese, Ring-Billed Gull, Dark-Eyed Junco, Sparrows, Great Blue Heron, American Bald Eagle
