The weather finally cooperated today and allowed me to get out for a walk at Lake Pueblo State Park. Once again, the local wildlife was tough to find. There were no deer to be seen and the only birds that were even marginal possibilities as photo subjects were the ducks, among whom there were none but the usual suspects. As the featured image demonstrates, today was another “scenic” photography day. This time of year things are pretty ragged out there, but if you look around interesting compositions start to appear.

Sightings:
Birds: Mallards, Buffleheads, Gadwalls, White-breasted Nuthatch, American Kestrel, Dark-eyed Juncos, Sparrows
Critters: none

Gear: Lumix GH4, 45-150mm
