Since Last evening’s outing was so successful I decided to try it again. I did see a good number of birds but none were anywhere near enough to get a useful image. I thought I had spotted a Starling nest last evening but I was not able to relocate it. The Heron nest that was so entertaining last night was completely abandoned. So I was disappointed as I neared the end of my normal route and decided to turn off my camera and just enjoy the evening. As I walked along I caught movement out of the corner of my eye. I looked more carefully and there was a Fox slinking through the brush. I whipped up the camera, framed a shot and pushed the shutter release button. Of course, the camera was still off so…….
Tonight’s featured image is not of a Fox. Since this outing was unproductive I am posting a sunset shot of the Wet Mountains seen from the top of the Lake Pueblo Dam shot March 24, 2021.
