Environment:
Start Time: 9:10 AM Temperature: 43 degrees Sky: Sunshine, few clouds and mild breeze

I decided to take a chance this morning brought my wide angle gear out to Lake Pueblo State Park. That turned out to be a great choice since the birds were few and far between. Really, I saw only three Mallards! So it was easy to focus on the color which is starting to be fully developed. Puns not intended. Today’s featured image is what I consider to be the best capture of the morning. This one required me to wander off the trail a bit to avoid foreground distractions. I think it was worth the extra effort. The other two shots are nice, too. Please take a look at my October 22, 2020 post to get a comparison with last years Autumn Extravaganza. It is kind of weird that I decided to shoot leaves on October 22nd two years in a row….
