Walking conditions were quite comfortable this morning at Lake Pueblo State Park. As nice as things were, activity was very subdued. Not many people or birds. I saw a few Wood Ducks up in the trees and the Cooper’s Hawk parents to be were both hanging around the nest waiting for the eggs to be done. They are posted in the mini-gallery at the bottom of this post. I still don’t know which one is Mom and which one is Dad. Posted here a shot of a Red-tailed hawk looking out at Pueblo Dam. I guess the biggest news is the two Barn Swallows (featured above) who were rebuilding their nest in the rafters of the informational kiosk by the Anticline Fishing Pond.
