Bummer, is the only way to sum up today’s outing. I thought the Sun would burn off the thin layer of clouds that was present when I arrived but the clouds won out instead. I looked for an Owl where I saw one on Sunday but was not successful. Today’s featured image of a Great Horned Owl was taken on the 1st. I only got one shot today and it was of a Cormorant badly tangled in some fishing line. This really put a damper on my walk. I stopped at the entrance gate on my way out of the park and asked the attendant to call a Ranger to come out and rescue the poor bird. I hope things worked out well.
