More bright sunshine this morning made for very pleasant walking conditions. Though everyone was keeping their distance, today’s stars were mostly the smaller perching birds (mini-gallery below) along with one Whiptail Lizard – featured image above. Pictured here is the most vocal of today’s subjects – a Yellow-breasted Chat. There are a lot of Chats this year – I saw (and heard) at least four.
