Environment:
Start Time: 7:10 AM Temperature: 60 degrees Sky: Mostly Sunny.
It took a little while but the Sun finally took command of the morning sky. The highlight of today’s walk has to be two of the photos in the mini-gallery at the bottom of this post – the Cooper’s Hawk and the Mississippi Kite. Both of these raptors have been playing hard to get lately. Pictured here is a Common Merganser making good use of the Arkansas River. Today’s featured image (above) is a cute shot of three Canada Goose goslings huddled together in the shadow of an adult for protection from the bright morning sunshine. That’s good parenting.
