Environment:
Start Time: 6:50 AM Temperature: 65 degrees Sky: Cloudy to start – Sunny at the end.
Today’s walk started out cloudy but cool and ended sunny and a little too warm. The temperature raised close to ten degrees over the course of the outing. Not a lot was going on. Today’s featured image is a Common Merganser couple who have been haunting a shallow spot on the Arkansas River for the last week. Otherwise the river is still used by only the brave at heart. One Osprey teased me by hovering over the river but it never made a strike. The bottom of the post today is a couple of younger Mule Deer – a doe and a buck. I’m assuming both are last year’s crop and both were still traveling with their moms.
