Last full day of Spring. Unfortunately this turned out to be kind of gloomy and not particularly active. Still I managed to get some really nice captures. First, today’s featured image is my first fawn sighting of 2022. Mother and child were well out into the prairie so the picture isn’t that great but you can see the little one to the right of mom. Posted here and in the mini-gallery below is a series of shots of a Great Blue Heron at work on the Arkansas River. I don’t know if it saw me or not but it stayed focused on the business at hand as did I.
