Today’s stars turned out to be the little birds. The Osprey were busy flying high and I did see one of the Cooper’s Hawk youngsters but I got no images of any of them. The featured image is a heart warming shot of an adult Western Kingbird bringing a tasty insect to her (?) babies who are huddled together on a branch. Maybe its their first day out of the nest – who knows? The Barn Swallow nest is still operational at the informational kiosk by the fishing pond and I managed a nice portrait of one of the nest owners checking in.
