My triumphant return to Lake Pueblo State Park was met with little fanfare. I guess everyone is worn out from giving Queen Elizabeth II her big send off. My best bird captures are of the Belted Kingfisher pictured here. I guess my recent absence from the trail caused it to let down its guard and accidentally perch on my side of the river. It didn’t take long for it to head to the South shore. There was some good butterfly activity to keep me occupied – today’s featured image is of a Cabbage White Butterfly fluttering off to the next bloom. A Monarch Butterfly also favored me with a quiet moment. It’s good to be back,
