Pretty successful photo walk this morning. While trying to spot an Owl, I caught sight of one of the juvenile Cooper’s Hawks and finally managed to grab some decent (though a little dark) shots of the creature. He did not make it easy but did land the featured image spot today. Also pictured here is a Common Grackle talking it up and letting the morning sunshine light up his many colors. The Arkansas River was not so busy this morning but I did capture (in focus) that Pied-billed Grebe and a nice shot of a Mallard Hen. I only saw one Osprey today.
