Perfect walking conditions out on the not-so-muddy trails today. The park was pretty active with people and wildlife. The now greening vegetation is very popular with the Mule Deer community who, I’m sure, are sick of the dry weeds they have survived on all Winter. Today’s featured image is the only official raptor I got close to. This guy was actively hunting – I saw several sorties which did not end in success. Pictured here is a Northern Flicker examining one of the deader cottonwoods in the area. I’ll finish things of with a couple of duck pictures.
