Environment:
Start Time: 7:10 AM Temperature: 50 degrees Sky: Sunshine.
Conditions were just a little past perfect out on the trail today. No complaints here. Spring is still springing up – Milkvetch (post bottom) is blooming giving the butterflies a reason to be out. I caught a group of Mule Deer giving the riverbank a good cleaning. Most birds were keeping low profiles – except those that were flying high in the sky. I see Double Crested Cormorants coming and going but I never seem to be near their destination. Today’s featured image is a Bullock’s Oriole who was too interested in the tree branch it was examining to be bothered making my life difficult.
