Environment:
Start Time: 7:05 AM Temperature: 54 degrees Sky: Sunshine and a few clouds.
Mornings continue being perfect walking weather. Birding, was practically a no-go. All the images posted today, except for the featured image, were shot yesterday. The Wild Roses are really starting to pop. The Red-tailed Hawk pictured here is probably the same one in the nest above. I think this is the female based mostly on the fact that I was born in the 1950’s which mean it is the female who minds the nest. The water level on the Arkansas is still very high which is what is bumming out the Canada Goose couple at the bottom of the post. They just don’t want to risk taking the little ones out on that raging river.
