Two days in a row! I hope the Sun can keep things going – at least in the mornings. The Starlings are putting the hawks to shame when it comes to child-rearing. Today’s featured image is of a busy Starling parent stuffing chow into the gullets of its impatient younglings. No baby hawks are yet apparent. Pictured here is a juvenile Cooper’s Hawk who was also having breakfast in the woods though I couldn’t see what was on the menu. Overall things were pretty quiet today I did get a long shot of a Great Blue Heron who is closing out this post.
