Apparently Lake Pueblo State Park experienced a rather intense storm last night. Lots of mud on the roadways, standing water in places that I have never seen standing water, trees down and lots of mud. Maybe the storm washed away a lot of the birds cause there weren’t many of them drying out in the morning sunshine. Generally a pretty pleasant but boring stroll today. Another Mule Deer claims today’s featured spot. This fawn was working the prairie with its mom – those spots are fading fast. A couple of Kingbirds were kind enough to pose for me and I spotted some ducks back on the Arkansas River. A few of the Cottonwood trees are starting to go into Autumn mode. Time marches on.
