After yesterday’s surprise appearance by the Peregrine Falcon we were back to the usual suspects this morning. Things were really low key out on the trail – even the Osprey were just sort of hanging around but in a noisy fashion. Caught a family of Wild Turkeys (minus dad) out on the prairie. They must live nearby because I have seen what are probably the same birds on my last two outings. Speaking of the same birds, the bottom of today’s post is my sleepy owl subject. I’m pretty sure it isn’t dead because it keeps switching trees but I’m not sure if it ever wakes up.
