Well, things were not as active today as they were yesterday. I think the Osprey wore themselves out and decided to take the day off. Some other birds did come out to take up the slack – so I get to post a few of the shyer ones. Featured (above) is a juvenile Northern Flicker who seemed to be out on its own conducting tree inspections. I was also treated to a Blue Grosbeak that seemed to be watching the Sun rise. Closing out the post is a juvenile Blue Jay looking like it got its head stuck in a pencil sharpener. It and several of its siblings were getting Blue Jay lessons from an adult.
