Osprey action is coming to a close for 2023. I saw one or two of the magnificent birds and got no photos. Today’s featured image is a Hawk of undetermined flavor. Even Google was unwilling to hazard a guess. A handsome bird nevertheless. I did spend some time with an accommodating Great Blue Heron – pictured here. I also have to note that the Autumn color is moving into the Cottonwoods – and other trees as well. I’ll close this post with an American Kestrel and a Pied-billed Grebe – the first one I’ve seen since late Spring.
