Well, if it wasn’t for this one Great Blue Heron there would have been no reason for me to even bring a camera along for my walk. I’m glad I hung around the river bank for a while to catch all the different poses on display. Except for one passing Red-tailed Hawk, no raptors were anywhere to be seen.
Sightings:
Birds: Mallards, Canada Geese, Starlings, Northern Flickers, Great Blue Herons, Wild Turkeys, Red-tailed Hawks, American Kestrel, Killdeer
Critters: Mule Deer, Cabbage White Butterflies, Painted Lady Butterfly, Prairie Dogs, other flying bugs
