Environment:
Start Time: 7:20 AM Temperature: 28 degrees Sky: Sunshine with slight breeze.
Things were quite frosty this morning when I hit the trail. It would have been a lot better if the wicked little breeze hadn’t kicked up. This was another low activity day as demonstrated by a Tree Squirrel grabbing the featured image slot. If the juvenile Black-crowned Night Heron pictured below was just a bit more in focus I would have opened with it. The White-breasted Nuthatch pictured was pretty accommodating as was the Great Horned Owl at post bottom. I’m not sure the owl even saw me – he (?) was zonked.
