Environment:
Start Time: 6:40 AM Temperature: 40 degrees Sky: Mostly Sun.
Things are starting to warm up. The Sun had no problem overcoming the few eastern clouds in the sky to provide some much welcome radiant heat. My Great Horned Owl parents were both waiting around the nest patiently. I captured a Wood Duck Drake and Hen (pictured) shopping in the trees for a nest of their own, For the featured (top) image I captured one of two Western Meadowlarks who have staked out the intersection of Reservoir Road and Juniper Road as their hunting area and have been singing me into the park when I arrive.
