After skipping yesterday’s outing due to heavy cloud cover I had high hopes for this morning. There were some clouds in the East interfering with the Sun but I thought the old guy would rise above the problem. Well, he made a good effort but in the end the clouds won. It was no big loss since the wildlife activity both on the ground and in the air was pretty sparse. I spotted an Owl early on but he vanished into the trees. Just like my last outing, the trip was saved by what I am sure was the same band of turkeys I saw two days ago. This is a pretty cocky bunch grazing right out in the open and not really too upset by my constant shutter clicking. Only one image is below.

For today’s featured image I reached back in my archive and found one I took this day in 2019. It is a dragonfly resting on a small branch.
