Much better climate today. I even managed to show up at Lake Pueblo State Park dressed appropriately. After spotting that Bald Eagle yesterday you can imagine how high my hopes were set today. To no avail. I guess Eagles take Sundays off. But a Hawk flew by – Google says it is a Red-tailed Hawk but I am not so sure. Google is also telling me the image posted below is a Townsend’s Solitaire – I wish I could have gotten another angle to be sure. Today’s featured image (above) is a Pied-billed Grebe doing a little stretching on the Arkansas River. Below is a Belted Kingfisher – if you can find it.

Sightings:
Birds: Common Goldeneye, Gulls, Canada Geese, Starlings, American Robin, Song Sparrows, Downy Woodpecker, Great Blue Heron, Belted Kingfisher, Hawk
Critters: Mule Deer, Tree Squirrel
Gear: Nikon D5600, 55-300mm
