Pleasant conditions persist out at Lake Pueblo State Park. You could tell that there was no football on TV this afternoon because the fisherman count was way up. Bird count kind of down. Even with the warmer temperatures over the past few days the Anticline Fishing Pond is still frozen solid as the Great Blue Heron pictured here is discovering. Hope he isn’t waiting for a thaw to eat. The Arkansas River is still flowing and this Pied-billed Grebe was finding more to eat than our ice-bound heron. The featured image up top is some Canada Geese heading West.
