Where are the Eagles?
According to one of my spotters, I arrived at Lake Pueblo State Park shortly after the eagles had left. I looked and looked but was unable to turn up even a single eagle. But I did the walk anyway. There wasn’t a lot of activity but I did capture a Yellow-rumped Warbler – pictured here. And a Great Blue Heron did a low level fly-by. For the featured image I caught an American Kestrel in, what I believe to be, the act of house hunting. S/He was very interested in the cavity in this tree and poked its head in a couple of times. I’ll keep an eye out for some more baldies.
