I felt I had to make it out to Lake Pueblo State Park this afternoon because the weather forecast for tomorrow is promising a more Winter-like day. Since birding hasn’t been real rewarding of late I decided to pull out my infrared rig and see what Winter looks like in the 720 nanometer wavelength. Generally I think today’s product is pretty nice. The featured image (above) is one of my favorite trees in the Rock Canyon area and the lack of color seems to flatter it. And – to prove that I haven’t totally given up on the birds – I took a shot of a White-crowned Sparrow just to see what that would look like. Well……
