The weather forecast for later today being not too promising and a surprisingly warm (for January) morning made me head out early to see what there was to see at Lake Pueblo State Park. Today’s featured image of two Mallards sound asleep on the bank of the Arkansas River kind of sums up the activity level. Really it was the river or the trees as far as locating wildlife. The trees are represented by the Northern Flicker and the Tree Squirrel pictured here. The river is represented by the top and bottom pictures of this post. But, still, it was really nice walking weather and I’m glad I went.
