Double Crested Cormorant at Lake Pueblo State Park, Colorado

I’m getting better at capturing the fledgling Cooper’s Hawks. Today’s featured image is probably the best one so far. I saw two of them today and they seem to be getting more comfortable moving through the leaves and branches. Not sure how much longer they will be hanging around the nest. Otherwise it was another low action walk in the park. I just barely caught a huge group of ducklings who were herded away from sight by mom. I really haven’t seen that many little ducks this season but this one family kind of makes up for it.
