I went. I saw. I came home. Today was one of those rare outings where I had a great walk but took no photographs. The only activity I saw was a great distance away. So for a featured image I am posting a shot that I took yesterday of a male Belted Kingfisher. Shortly after taking this shot he made a dive into the Arkansas River and then flew off with whatever he caught. I did see Betty and Barney, the Barn Swallow couple, back at the kiosk by the fishing pond but I couldn’t tell if they were working on nest #4 or not.
