Environment:
Start Time: 7:00 AM Temperature: 69 degrees Sky: Brilliant Sunshine with a few clouds.

Yet another beautiful walking day. Yet another photographically frustrating day. Still it was a little better than yesterday. The House Wren posted at the bottom was kind enough to stop for a split second so I could justify bringing my camera out to Lake Pueblo State Park. And for the featured image up top I have a Common Merganser drake cruising in the sunshine on the Arkansas River. Usually its (I assume) mate is also present but today was nowhere to be seen. Plenty of Osprey were swirling around high up in the sky and several Cormorants flew by. I don’t know where they are hanging out this year since they are not frequenting traditional venues and I rarely see one on the river.
