I’m starting to wonder if the current warm temperatures are driving the birds off in search of a place to cool off. Things were pretty quiet at LPSP this afternoon. I was hoping to find some smaller, cooperative birds to test out my vintage Olympus E-1 camera with its flash attachment. This rig requires me to get pretty close to my subject but I got no volunteers today. So today’s featured image is a late Winter image of whats left of last Summer’s sunflowers with the Arkansas River shimmering in the background. I can tell you if there had been a bird sitting on those dead flowers it would have looked great!
