Today provided another great walking experience for those with the time to hit the trails. I was included in that group and I managed to capture a nice collection of birds to boot. I got decent shots of two raptors – the Red-tailed Hawk pictured here and the American Kestrel who won the featured image position by taking off. Both of these taloned creatures (I believe) are in the process of house hunting to accommodate that which happens every Spring.
