Black-capped Chickadee at Lake Pueblo State Park, Colorado

Every outing can’t be gang-busters, I guess. Today, instead of Hawks and Osprey, it was Black-capped Chickadees, flycatchers and Sparrows. The featured image is what I believe to be a juvenile White-crowned Sparrow. The chickadee pictured here did not make it easy but I caught him just before he made a jump to another twig. The Flycatcher (below) was much calmer but kept its distance. There’s always tomorrow – weather permitting.
