Even though conditions were less than optimal I somehow managed to come home with some interesting shots. I know, an American Robin doesn’t rate real high on the Interesting Scale but I am posting it by popular demand. The other American bird I captured today is the Kestrel below. There were two of them kind of chasing each other around so they might have been courting. Today’s featured shot is a Great Horned Owl who wasn’t working real hard at not being seen. Maybe it thought that if it closed its eyes that was good enough. I also checked on the Owl nest I found last week and found it manned by what I assume is mother owl. No hatchlings visible.
