Another low activity day out on the trail. I think everyone is in line over at Culver’s for Mother’s Day breakfast with mom. One group, the Mule Deer, were out in force this morning. Pictured below is a group of ladies that were grazing on a little island in the stream of the Arkansas River. They are all looking a little ratty as their Summer coats push out the old Winter wear. The day’s featured image is a Bullock’s Oriole who was busy eating some bugs that were caught in a web on a tree. Not sure if the web’s spider owner was also on the menu. Otherwise, Spring continues to green up Lake Pueblo State Park.
