Great Blue Herons were the only birds I was able to capture today – and they did not make it easy. Both of these birds were perching well into the now faded Autumn leaves. And both were giving me some stern looks.

Birds: Mallards, Gadwalls, Gulls, Starlings, White-crowned Sparrows, Belted Kingfishers, Great Blue Herons, American Kestrel, Woodpecker, White-breasted Nuthatch
Critters: Prairie Dogs
