As colder morning temperatures start to make their appearances in the Autumn I change my walking schedule to put me at Lake Pueblo State Park in the late afternoon. This is what happened today and, all in all, things went pretty well. On my way into the park I was struck by the late afternoon light that was falling onto Liberty Point so I pulled over and took one of the landscapes posted below. After that I continued on to my walk where I saw quite a few birds but only got one shot of a Blue Jay – posted here. I shot today’s featured image (above) on my way out of the park this evening. This is one of the biggest groupings of Mule Deer I have ever seen at LPSP and they were very mellow – letting me get pretty close. After I finished taking the deer group shot I turned around and saw how the sunlight had changed on Liberty Point – so I shot another landscape – also posted below. I am pretty amazed at the change of appearance between the two landscapes in the matter of an hour and a half. Pretty cool.
