Still on Break. Here is what things looked like in 2020.
Environment:
Start Time: 2:10 PM Temperature: 48 degrees Sky: Sunny, no clouds, no breeze
The day started in a shroud of fog and a good layer of frost. I Finally made it out to Lake Pueblo State Park in the mid-afternoon when the conditions were much improved. This time of year the Sun angle in the afternoon is still low enough to allow for decent photo opportunities. Once again, the bird population did not take advantage of this useful light. So today’s featured image is of a group of White-Crowned Sparrows. Posted below is a Ring-Billed Gull making a landing on the Anticline Fishing Pond.
Sightings:
Birds: Mallard Ducks, Bufflehead Duck, Ring-Billed Gulls, Canada Geese, Dark-Eyed Juncos, White-Crowned Sparrows, American Kestrel, Western Grebe, Starlings
Critters: Mule Deer
Gear: Lumix GH4, 100-300 mm
